Three Little Mermaids

Water and mermaids definately go together!! But, there is a question I must ask .... do they like to have their pictures taken? I've been told that they are very, very shy ... but ... look at these three very cute mermaids. Do you know which one had their picture taken first?

I'm Going To Jail !!!!

Now, I am not quite sure exactly what this grandmother has done to deserve this .... but, there are hand-cuffs being applied by her grandson, Ryan. It's giggles and laughter and then just plain dismay because this silly boy has just informed her ... HE DOESN'T HAVE A KEY!!!!!

The Lagoon

What can be better than meeting the "monster" in the lagoon and becoming her friend? That is exactly what this photo reminds me of. I love the way Angie, my daughter is just surfacing above the water with her watery smile just observed. Ofcourse, a smile and a twinkle in her eye ... as she makes a new friend with her "land" friend, Abby.

The Rain Basket

I've been told by a very reliable source that anyone that plays the game of golf, needs to make sure they are prepared for any kind of weather ... whether rain or thunderstorms. In this case, the newest and greatest invention is the rain basket!!!! It is just fantastic ... it keeps the rain off of your head and doesn't interfere with your being able to keep your "eye on the ball". Tristan's motto .... ALWAYS BE PREPARED.

Just Me

I am feeling alittle under the weather today .... just came back home from trying to take my grandkids to the pool. This is definately no fun. Needless to say, no scrapbook pages today.

Creativity

Whenever I really feel like creating scrapbook pages .... I take full ADVANTAGE of those minutes. The last few days are an example of that. Some of my scrapbook pages were a breeze to make and then others were "think tanks". The hardest one I have tackled in a long time was that of Harry Potter. Hope you enjoy them all. My ideas come from many places ... combinations of clipart I find on the web, as well as, finding an idea online and then incorporating it with my own unique approach to that idea. An example of someone else's idea was a poem I read about a "skunk" ... that brought forth my idea of using the skunk ... odor's for the baby diaper. Just fun ways of making it my own.

Welcome to Harry Potter

This is one of my favorite photographs of Ryan. You may ask why ... afterall it's just a side view. What intrigues me, is I wonder what he is thinking about. So, in my own imagination .... he is thinking in curiosity about the Harry Potter books.

My Stinker

Now, one of the things that comes with babies is the ever needing to change a diaper ... especially those that knock your socks off!!!! I kept trying to come up with a new way to poke fun at that dilemma. It is so funny to watch a grown up that is forced to endure that most unpleasant of smells. We'll peek in the side of the diaper and then try to trade off this most adorable, cutest baby to whoever will take on this task. Hope this scrapbook brings a smile.

Nana's Night Out

One of my favorite things to do with Allison and Justin is to play games, and Uno is one of my favorites. Justin is pondering how to increase his score and Allison and I compare cards, so that we can beat him. Alittle cheating is okay when it's between the girls.

A Bug's World

It's Tristan's birthday .... and one of his presents was a pair of "Bug Glasses". Did you know that you are suppose to be able to look through them and see just like a bug does!!!! However, there is a BIG PROBLEM!!! For you see, Tristan doesn't want to have anything to do with them. He is very partial to his NEW SUNGLASSES instead. Wow .... Justin to the rescue. I wonder how the world looks through those GREEN shades?

It's A Pool Party

One of the favorite things of summer is swimming. Add three cousins ... with loads of splashing, inner tubes and smiles. The combination fills the photo taker ... and in this case Nana with many memories to cherish.

Getting Rich

Did you know that the Burgess kids are getting rich? How do you ask? Why, their parents have found a wonderful way to incorporate the winning skills of future atheletes. How are they earned? With team play and sportsmanship, as well as, homeruns and shutouts ... and so much more. As Brandon is a key pitcher for his team ... No Hitters are always his goal.
