One of my wishes was for us all to laugh more.  When is the last time you really laughed from your stomach all the way to the outside of your body?  That amazing feeling that can touch you right down to the tip of your toes.  That laughter that has the ability to bring tears to your eyes.  And, make your stomach even hurt.

The Definition of Clumsy

Now, today I hope everyone doesn't mind .....

But, I need a little break from creating Christmas themed wordart.  And, I am in one of my "let's be silly moods".  That spells out to a HUMOR freebie today.

Don't know if this means I am going to have one of those UPSIDE DOWN days ......

Panic Time

Just the other day when I was trying to redo my blogspot, I ran into PROBLEMS with a capital HEADACHE.  I became very PANICKED because I couldn't figure out how to get back into my BLOG to do ANYTHING!!!!!

All I saw was I was going to have to START ALL OVER AGAIN WITH A NEW BLOG!!!!!

That is called running away and screaming.

I contacted one of my MENTOR'S, Trine of "Nothing But Freebies" for advice.  ALAS .... she didn't know how to help me!!!  Today is dedicated to her.   Trine, you never fail to make me laugh.

Hiding Presents

Do you have snoopers in your house?

relatives in my family.

He is called my SON.

Now, that he is an adult ....

he just badgers me with non-stop,

endless questions.

He knows better than to try to figure out what's inside his present now!!!!!

Just another memory .... one year I wrapped presents in

red, white and green with

no tags!!!!

The kids didn't know their color until Christmas morning.

And, the boxs under the tree were just

that .... EMPTY BOXES.

I wish you could have seen their faces .... priceless

(they were all teenagers)

after all the empty boxes were opened ...

they got an envelope with their color and

went to our bedroom to find their presents.

Still makes me laugh!!!!

Tooth Fairy

I have decided to go ahead and post my other two freebies that I planned to release tomorrow, because I have so much to do for my pending vacation to Texas.  So, that everyone does know I will be gone from October 3-October 9.  And, I don't think I will be posting/designing any other daily freebies until October 10th.


My family theme continues with thoughts of NOW going to the dentist.  This is one of my childhood and now adulthood "nightmares".  I have decided just in case there are some scrapbook pages being done on this "event" .... I have done something with a little "love" and another with a little "humor".

I bid you all a farewell for a little over a week.  I am so excited about this trip finally just being days away.  Do to my getting so sick in June .... that trip was cancelled.  We have just not been able to reschedule it any other time during the summer because of the continued problems.  I haven't seen my daughter, Angie or her family in over a year!!!!!  And, even though this trip is SO SHORT in comparison to the ones we usually make to Texas .... I am happy to just be finally going.

Idiotitis

I just couldn't resist this one.  I found this quote about a year ago and used it on one of my scrapbook layouts concerning my son, Drue giving his Dad instructions on how to use an edger.  It was one of the funniest moments between them and my husband's face was priceless.  Drue had just gotten his new house and had become an expert on everything concerning outside.  This advice came after almost forty-years of cutting grass.  Needless to say, he definitely entertained me and exasperated his Dad.

I have been gone for the last few days ... do apologize.  Still not feeling real great.  I go to a specialist next Tuesday if the pain doesn't kill me first ... hee, hee.  Absolutely love my doctor, but ..... he's stumped.  He thought I'd feel better by now. He's moving pretty fast though ... appointment is next Tuesday with specialist.

Best thing .... I AM LOSING WEIGHT LIKE CRAZY.  Only thing that doesn't hurt me seems to be oatmeal and milk.  My heating pad and I have an ongoing love affair happening and what more could I ask for ... gourmet oatmeal.  I've dropped eight pounds in ONE WEEK!!!!  Going to have that old man of mine fall right in love all over again with this NEW ME!!!!

Stuck In The Middle

I have three children and one of the topics of conversation when they were little was ..... SOMEONE IS ALWAYS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE.  It didn't matter who it happened to be either.  There was always, always one of my "darlings" that felt they were being treated unfairly.

I am not sure I will be doing one tomorrow.  I am having a number of ultra sounds done this afternoon, labwork etc.  I have been in alot of pain for about two weeks now, with it getting worse by the day.  Didn't even going swimming yesterday ... instead went to the doctor.  My tests start at noon today.  Wish me luck ... and that they find out why I am in such pain.  Doing wordart to keep my mind off of my stomach.

Haven't Finished Yet

Teenagers are notorious for the ability to make you want to pull out your hair!!!!  They not only live in their own special world .... they do things or not doing things at their own SPECIAL TIME!!!!!

I use to get so frustrated with their ability to CANDIDLY and STRAIGHT-FACED let me know that they were big into the CONCEPT of DOING NOTHING ............ and yes, it could last for days!!!

Just a little humor .... now that I am wise.

I have done this wordart again in two ways .. with or without the element.  But, Miss Eyes is my favorite.  She just reminds me so much of my own "teenage" daughters.  And can you believe it!!!!  Now, two of my grandchildren have reached that golden age!!!  Abby's just turned 13 years old and Brandon's is now twelve.  Let the fun begin!!!!!

Where's My Remote

Now, I don't know about you ..... this is the perfect example of MY MAN when he can't find his remote.  It only takes him SECONDS to place the BLAME at my feet.  Can you BELIEVE IT, my mild mannered gentleman turns into a MONSTER when it's lost.  He turn's GREEN .... will pout and just can't even IMAGINE that it just might be HIMSELF that lost it!!!!!

Laundry Advice

Today I am in one of my spunky moods because I should be doing laundry instead of sitting here at my computer.   And, you can see which one is winning!!!!  Hee, hee.

Today I combined many kinds of humor .... starting with the definition of "Normal Family", added the spice of kids and their definition of "laundry" .... AND A CREATION IS MADE.

My idea was inspired by my grandson, Sean .... captured forever by his Mom.  This is one that should be shown on his WEDDING DAY.
