Through the eyes of a baby

You can download at:

I had a reason for choosing this particular one because it does represent my grandchildren.

However, my thoughts are:
                                                                       HEY DOC!!!

what do you
mean
ABOUT

my grandson ....
he's calling me on the phone

HE MADE ALL-STAR
FOR THE CITY OF DUBUQUE

AND YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL ME

that I can't be
with my
munchkin

THIS DOWN RIGHT SUCKS!!!!!

Friday the doctor informed me I need to continue resting and that my activity is limited.  This is the latest news for me and I am miserable.  Actually, it has made me mad.  I don't want to take it easy .... I want to work my muscles, I want to talk properly again and I want to really work my body.

He does not want me doing anything yet with my grandchildren that's physical activity.  Like going to swim for an afternoon at the pool, he doesn't want me going walking with just them, he doesn't want me going to a baseball game, he doesn't want me playing video games and it just plain sucks, sucks, sucks and sucks some more.

I am actually very mad .... if you didn't get that yet.  That neurologist trying to tell me what to do!!!!  My grandson, Justin is representing the city of Dubuque, Iowa as an "All Star" player and I am not, I repeat not sitting my butt on the sofa just listening!!!!  Dr. Peterson says the four hour drive will totally exhaust me.  He has advised me about the heat, the noises, the activities ... he says I'll go into stimuli overload.   He doesn't want me over extending myself.  To me, he is just being plain hateful or stupid.  This man just doesn't know me!!!!

This doctor has no idea how important my family is to me!!!!  They are my biggest healing force.  John is trying to tell me he'll take millions of pictures and it will be just like I am there.  Not going to work!!!!!!  John wants me to listen to the doctor, Christa (my daughter) wants me to listen to the doctor and Justin and I have a pact ... I am going to be there .... somehow, someway !!!!!!  We'll figure out a way before July 12 through 14.  Or I better be able to watch Justin's every move live on a computer screen!!!  Talk and chatter .... have a hot dog!!!!  AND, CHEER!!!!!

Thanks for listening.

Hugs, Sue

I HAVE ALREADY BEEN TOLD I WON'T BE ABLE TO DRIVE FOR SIX MONTH AND THAT IS BAD ENOUGH ..... BUT I REFUSE TO HAVE MY LIFE PASS ME BY AND BE A SPECTATOR, ESPECIALLY LOCKED IN MY HOUSE!!!!!

Thanks for listening, Sue

No one, and I mean no one is keeping me from that game.  I AM JUSTIN'S BIGGEST CHEERLEADER.  I even promise I won't utter a sound if John will just take me to the ballgame.

Baby to little girl

Welcome to the month of October!!!!

For about five days I am going to do freebies on the theme of Family.  Here is my first one and I do hope that you like it.

It is called "Baby to Little Girl"
and dedicated to all
the Daddy's out there
both young and old!!!

Here is my preview:
You can download it at:

I am also giving this minus "when her father gives her away"
in png format.

The idea came from the song "When A Girl Changes From Bobbie Socks To Stockings" with my own little twist on it.  It represents the "First Love" of every single baby girl .... that says Dada.  And, then when Daddy is still the love of her life .... he teaches her the true meaning of unconditional love.  This will lead some day to "her Man of her Dreams", just like her Daddy was for her mother.

This one was very heartfelt to make, because I am married to just such a man .... and his love has never stopped shining for his daughters or son.  And, I am pleased as punch to say .... our children have the same kind of soul mates that I do.

Leave some love as always.  And I continue to welcome all my newbies to this blog and hugs as always to all my great old friends.

A Baby's Love Token

No Mother's Day could be complete without at least one wordart done around a little baby toddler.

If any mother has had the experience of colored walls at any time .... Mom's don't find this very funny.  Actually our reactions are ..... complete horror ..... and that is more like it!!!!

I have had this experience with all three of my children when they were toddlers.  And, believe it or not .... as I look back .... I should have just left those artistic beginning there on the wall for everyone to see.

I am so blessed to have all of my children blessed with the talents of drawing .... like myself.  And, my Miss Abby (my oldest granddaughter) is so, so talented.

Here is one of my scrapbook pages of her talent (drawn when she was 12 yrs old)

Even some of my grandsons are into drawing too.  But, Miss Abby can't have a day go by wtihout drawing.  I am so proud of her.

And here is my freebie Toddler's Mother's Day wordart and this one is dedicated to Miss Abby.

You can download this little toddler for Mother's Day at:  http://www.4shared.com/zip/MEoM6n7j/love_drawing.html

Have a great, great weekend .... I need to get ready for baseball games this afternoon.

The Photograph

My creative juices have been on full drive ....

I always like to create words that I feel can be used on any layout page that has that photograph that reaches right into your heart.  My wordart today is dedicated to just that photograph.

If this is your first time to my site, I want to welcome you.  Come and go exploring because I have so many goodies for you to download.  When there is an upcoming holiday .... I do try to do at least ten free wordarts around that theme.  You will find Easter is no exception.  So, pull up at chair .... grab a cup of coffee and just enjoy.

Heaven's Blessings

I always take advantage of those moments when I feel like creating.  Today is one of those days.  Later this afternoon I am doing another layout of my newest grandson, Ian.  There is always one of those photos that just shines like the stars.

You can download the above baby freebie at:  http://www.4shared.com/zip/DErAk3RF/file.html.

This freebie is also dedicated to one of my favorite people that I have met.  And, that is Sheryl at Granny Enchanted.  Her site always inspires me and I just love it.  It is surprising that after five years of downloading freebies, I didn't discover her until this year.  And, I am so glad I did.  Cuz' I LOVE HER SITE.  She has featured my site more times than I can count and I wanted to show her how much I appreciate it.  Thank you Sheryl for your support.  And, I hope you like this baby wordart.  You can find her site at:  http://grannyenchanted.com/

However, to all of you scrapbook ladies (and gents) ... this wordart could be used for even those other boys and men in your life.  I can visualize it .... husband holding his son or grandpa making a special toy or a big brother or sister looking over the side of a crib.

A grandparent again ....

I became a grandparent again .....

I don't think there is anything more treasured then to have a grandchild.  And, I have been very, very blessed.  On March 6, 2012 I received my latest gift from God.  He is my ninth grandchild and seventh little boy.  I am going for a whole football team ... hee, hee.

I am forever just amazed at each and every single person I have been so lucky to hold and love.  This newest baby is no exception.  He is just perfect .... rosy complexion, all his little fingers and toes.  He and his mother are doing just fine.

Here is my layout:

The preview is:

I have only done this freebie one way ... featured above.

You can download it at:  http://www.4shared.com/photo/zXl2qmgY/new_grandparent.html.

I would appreciate all your continued prayers for my mother.  She is having further testing done today and tomorrow.  For those that may not know ... they discovered a mass in her colon.  Surgery will be scheduled when all the tests results are in.  As I just found this out on March 6th, the same day as the birth of my ninth grandchild .... it's somewhat overshadowed this for me.  I am trying not to worry to much until I know all the facts.  But, it's hard.

Please, do bear with me if I don't get my daily wordart done for all of you.

Hugs, Sue
