Baseball baby boy

Did you know my Daddy is a big baseball fan????  Ever since I was in Mommy's tummy, I know that my Daddy loves the game.  He takes Mommy and I along everywhere .... and we always cheer for our favorite team. 

But, I have a secret!!!!  One day I will be the one of the baseball field hitting that homerun and my Daddy and Mommy are going to be so proud!!!!

One More Sports Freebie

I have done this wordart two different ways.  One with the stadium in the background and one with just the "Can Do" element and word anything.  This way that just adds to the way and ideas that this can be used for.

I am also including three photographs of myself because I have reached one of my goals in my journey to beat DIABETES.

This is an example of the can do anything!!!!   It's been a hard, sometimes frustrating, rewarding, ever inspiring, life changing challenge.  And I am fighting a hard battle .... but DIABETES will not win this ONE with me!!!!  This is me just coming back from a "Senior's Zumba" class.  If you haven't tried Zumba yet .... I for one ... recommend it highly.  It is so much fun .... you'll be smiling the entire time that you're there!!!!

Season Schedule

Calendar Schedule

Many years ago, in one of my baseball scrapbook pages I made this "Baseball Schedule" representing practice and rainout days.  Included was games and tournaments.  And by not putting a month, it could represent any month of baseball play.

Baseball Coach Backgrounds

I am including a baseball layout that I did back in 2009 using the background that is another freebie for today.  Basically I used the background as frames and cut out stars to use as accents on this layout.  Just to show another way to use the background.

Cheer for your favorite girl

If you're like me .... you not only watch the men and boys in your family, you also watch the girls.

For me, watching my granddaughter, Allison always makes me smile.  Little girls bring another element to baseball .... they stop in midrun if the lose their caps, they stop to get the dust of the tennis shoes, they pick flowers, they talk to their team mates on the field .... and they occasionally even play baseball.

Bat vs Ball

One of the heartbreaks of baseball is those "balls" that travel right through the bat like magic.  Do you know they call those STRIKES.  Now, I personally really believe magic happens and a spell is put on that bat just to frustrate the batter.  Afterall, that was a perfect swing .... and yet it doesn't connect with the bat.  Now, what is with this!!!!!
