What is in a hug?

While just thinking today .... I wondered what would be the perfect gift.  It doesn't require wrapping paper or a big bow.  It is something everyone has in their power to "exchange" with another, no matter how old you are.  It doesn't cost money ... it doesn't even really take up a lot of time.  And yet, the person you give it to; it can mean the world.

Yes .... it's snowing

Now, I must inform you right away .... IT IS NOT SNOWING IN MY HOMETOWN JUST YET.  Just the same, I am getting a number of comments that have told me the snow has begun to fall!!!!!  Now, for me ...... THEY'RE THE LUCKY ONES.

I have been waiting very PATIENTLY for our FIRST SNOWFALL.  We have the icy winds, we have the frigid cold air and we have the gray clouds. 

BUT, WHERE OH WHERE IS MY SNOW!!!

Yes, I am preoccupied with the stuff.  It's white and fluffy.  Soft to look at, but cold to the touch.  It sparkles.  And, it's downright gorgious.

First Snowfall

One of my favorite places to sit when the first snow falls is by a window.  I just get lost in the "enchanted world" that transforms the outdoor world.  Now the wind may be blowing or it may come down in silence.  Yet, no matter what .... I just become lost in it's beauty.
