An Artist In The Making

My granddaughter, Abby is so very talented.  She is been sketching since she was about four years old.  I wanted to share some of her drawings with you.  The one that is just on the left of her photo she did when she was ten, the other black and white she did when she was eleven and the one featured of the part of the face she did this Christmas and she is now twelve.  Our Christmas present to her .... her first colored pencil set.  I am so amazed at how talented she is.  Her drawings just take my breathe away. 

I wanted to share this with all my new friends.

Dear Diary

I received the cutest photo from my granddaughter, Abby with her friend Megan a few weeks back.  I have been waiting for just the right "elements" to do a scrapbook layout and today I found them.

I want to first thank Tony at Scrap Dot for her beautiful kit that she has offered as a freebie to all of us called "Girls Kit".  It has some of the most darling elements and I just love it.  I have done my scrapbook page around it and I have appropriately called it "Dear Diary".  You must go take a visit at her site at:  http://scrapdot.blogspot.com/.  This is my way of telling her thanks.

What's For Dinner?

I don't know about the rest of you ladies .... but one of the questions I am asked almost on a daily basis is this.  What's for dinner?  A harmless, yet if you don't even know what to fix .... IT IS A FRUSTRATING question.

My First Completed Set of Word Art

As a bonus to those who found my "home away from home" piece of cyberspace, I have decided upon completion of ten (10) word art creations of mine in any file I have set up in my home library, to offer it to you.
